Homeless Persons’ Memorial Day
Annually on the 21st of December
The Longest Night of the Year to be Without A Home

Housed and un-housed people are all invited to celebrate and memorialize those who we have lost in the past year.

We do this through music, stories, prayers representing various faith traditions, and a solemn candle lighting, as we read names of our marginalized neighbors we have lost to the streets this year.  The various representatives of faith traditions are encouraged to attend and dress according to their traditions.

A light meal will follow at 1:00 PM
